MedNet of Minnesota is a non-profit trade association that provides networking and support for manufacturers serving the medical industry in Minnesota. Their member companies include medical device manufacturers as well as manufacturers and suppliers who serve the medical device industry. Dowell Stute worked with MedNet's board on strategic planning last summer and is pleased to now provide full association management for this organization. Our work will focus on communications, event planning, media relations and financial management.

Dowell Stute has been working with the Hastings Area Chamber and Tourism Bureau over the last several months to create a three-year strategic plan using our 3D Planning model. Our work to date has included focus groups, member and board surveys, stakeholder interviews, and facilitating a board planning retreat. We look forward to creating the final plan that will help the Hastings Area Chamber grow as it continues to serve as the community's voice of business. The Coalition for the St. Croix River Crossing is a group of business, labor, government and community leaders from Minnesota and Wisconsin who support replacing the 80-year-old Stillwater Lift Bridge and building a new one in the area. The Coalition is working to educate the public about the project and generate support among residents, businesses, visitors, and elected officials from both sides of the river and both sides of the political aisle.

The bridge project, developed by community stakeholders, balances three important priorities:

1. The need for a new crossing

2. The need to preserve historic sites

3. The need to protect the river while enhancing opportunities for the public to enjoy the river valley
